The pendants contain butterfly wings from Australian butterflies that have died from natural causes on butterfly farms throughout Australia. The wings would normally be discarded so the butterfly wing jewellery allows the butterflies to be recycled so that their beauty can be appreciated and admired for a long time
Each sterling silver pendant contains a butterfly wing that has delicately been placed in between 2 pieces of glass so that you can see both for top and bottom of the butterfly’s wing. Each individual wing is chosen for it’s beautiful colours and patterns but slight variations appearance will be present between individual items due to the natural patterns of the butterfly’s wings
